Massage

Massage is becoming more and more popular as people discover the benefits of stress reduction, injury prevention, accelerated healing, relaxation, and restoration.

Maria Cook in her officeIt is possible that massage is one of the single best things you can do for yourself to stay healthy. We know it stimulates circulation and lymphatic drainage, helping to remove all the toxins that build up in our body as a result of our fast paced modern life. Massaging the skin releases endorphins that improve mood and energize.

Getting a massage is like taking a mini vacation–it can get you back on track and ready to take on the world again. It is so important to stop, let go, and let down every once in a while and massage is a very effective way of attaining that state of deep restorative relaxation.

Massage is no longer considered a luxury. It is an important part of any conscientious person’s health maintenance program. Just like regular exercise, plan massage into your life, whether its on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quarterly schedule. You will be glad you did.

How amazing that something that feels so good can be so good for you!
